What is CLAT UG?
CLAT UG (Common Law Admission Test - Undergraduate) is the national-level entrance examination for admission to 5-year integrated Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programs in 24+ National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating law colleges across India. Conducted by CLAT Foundation, it is one of the most competitive law entrance exams in India, attracting over 15 lakh aspirants annually.

Application Process
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official CLAT portal: www.clat.ac.in
- Click on “Register” and create an account
- Enter basic details: name, date of birth, email, phone number
- Create a strong password
- Verify email and phone via OTP
Step 2: Fill Application Form
- Complete all sections of the application form
- Upload recent passport-size photograph (200×250 pixels, max 200 KB)
- Upload signature (140×60 pixels, max 50 KB)
- Fill educational qualifications
- Select category and subcategory (if applicable)
- Provide contact details and communication address
Step 3: Payment of Application Fee
- General/OBC Candidates: ₹4,500
- SC/ST/Transgender/BPL Candidates: ₹2,250
- Payment modes accepted: Debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI
- Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable

- Admit cards are released on the official website
