Yes — Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory: Male: 35 kg weight lift for 100 m in 2 mins, 1000 m run in 4 min 15 sec. Female: 20 kg weight lift for 100 m, 1000 m run in 5 min 40 sec.

Minimum qualification is 10th Pass OR ITI from a recognised institution. Candidates with only 10th pass are eligible, but ITI holders may get preference for some posts.
